Established March 22nd, 2021, EA4A Network was formed among a group of volunteers from Europe and the U.S. as a collaboration to unite rescue animals with new families all over Europe and beyond.


Our organization aims to create better lives for abandoned and neglected animals all across Europe, with an emphasis on local education and government support. We are starting our project here in the Balkans because there is a dire need for reform of cultural mindsets in this region that we have witnessed first-hand. From the countless animals wondering the streets, sick, weak, injured, or just vulnerable/ to poisonings throughout numerous Balkan cities of street cats and dogs/ and also mal practice of importing/exporting animals throughout Europe and further that contribute to the animal trafficking pandemic that has resulted in major profits for organized crime syndicates. We intend to build trust in the existing local animal rescue community to help create a network so we can all work together for the animals’ benefit. To do this, we are focusing on sterilization campaigns on a community level with local government support, networking with existing rescues to determine successful pathways for fostering and both domestic and abroad adoptions, and community outreach to emphasize the importance of proper stray animal care and the lifelong joy that can be brought from adoption of these animals. At this point, although early on in our project, we have an ongoing proposal from the City in Gjirokaster, Albania, for a joint partnership (the first of its kind in Albania) for a municipal animal shelter, Guzi and Xhina Humane Society, operated by EA4A Network. We will continue to push for more involvement from governments in Europe in order to provide a foundation for the existing rescues here in the Balkans that they may use to further the support network and resources. Ultimately, to prosper in our long-term goals, we need your support, which spans many avenues, including financial, time, and social investments.
